The weekend in East Texas promises to be an explosive one, beginning with fireworks following Friday night’s baseball game. After Saturday, however, one lucky fan will be able to watch fireworks on a new television!
The East Texas Pump Jacks welcome the Brazos Valley Bombers to town for the first time in 2010, which will be only part of the excitement as the second half opens.
Friday night will be Fireworks Friday presented by KLTV News. The Pump Jacks will light up the night sky with a spectacular post-game fireworks display, set to a brand-new soundtrack. Fireworks Friday presented by KLTV News always impresses, so don’t miss it!
Saturday’s big giveaway features a brand-new 32-inch Toshiba flat-screen TV, presented by Buddy’s Home Furnishings and CBS 19. The Jacks will also be giving away a cool Flip Video Ultra HD pocket video recorder; the winner will be able to record up to two hours of HD video anywhere, ever at the ballpark! In addition, the first 200 adults through the gates of historic Driller Park will receive a $50 discount card to Buddy’s Home Furnishings. Everyone entering the park has a chance to win the TV and the Flip Video Ultra, so be there!
Sunday the Pump Jacks travel to Bryan to face the Bombers, and Monday is a contest in Weimar against the Texas Tomcats.
